OUR STORY
Our story begins in 1984, Maddalena (Raffaele's mother) began her journey in the field of men's tailored fashion, during her journey she enriched her baggage with many experiences, also in other fields such as military tailoring and companies producing luxury car interiors.
After 37 years of experience she decided to dedicate herself to making it on her own, supported by Raffaele (her son) in 2021, in the midst of the global Corona Virus pandemic they decided to open their own business.
Anyone who heard about this thought they were two crazy people, because in that difficult period for all commercial activities that were suffering from the pandemic, they decided to put themselves on the line by opening a small Haberdashery and Tailoring and decided to call it
Il Filo D'Oro.
After many sacrifices and sleepless nights, the pandemic had left them with signs of a severe crisis. Then Raffaele, just over twenty years old, decided to reinvent himself and do it with the materials he had at his disposal.
It took exactly 3 colored fabrics to make their first entirely handmade 300x200 flag.
Thanks to the evolution of Social Media, Raffaele began to show his works and discover more and more about the world of fans and understand what his customers were looking for, always bringing new innovations.
With great dedication and love, thousands of people have fallen in love with his works and today we have a community of over 15,000 customers spread all over the world: France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Tunisia... up to the big apple, New York!
His works have been truly appreciated by everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, until reaching the hearts of many fans who have had great trust and esteem in the work done in the past, commissioning him to do really important works for Important Events.
